Boeing receives $6B order for 737 jets

Aircraft-maker Boeing Co. reported Wednesday that it had won an order for 737 jets worth $6 billion at current list prices.

Aviation Capital Group ordered 60 737 MAX airplanes, Boeing said. The 737 MAX has now accumulated more than 1,000 orders to date.

Boeing shares rose 1.7% in premarket trades as stocks rose after the fiscal cliff deal in Washington.
